What is the best gift for Mother's Day?
Certainly as we are finally moving along from restrictions, I would say a big hug. Connection with loved ones. A chance to share a meal, good conversation and limitless time at the table. We all have our favourite meals, sure! But I just want time with my family. My vote is to keep Moms out of the kitchen.
How to start the perfect day? In the Todaysmenu world, it would be with spinach & cheese quiche , fresh fruit and hot cup of coffee.

You know Mom best. She might be all in a chocolate gal and the decision is easy. But choice is nice and you can easily do all. Make the cookies earlier in the day and use the oven for the apple crumble as you take out the lasagna. The brownies just need to sit out until being served.
